Ben Hamilton is Co-Founder and Chief AI Officer of Latus AI, where he translates two decades of enterprise security experience into the governance frameworks that make responsible AI adoption possible. His focus is on converting policy and regulatory requirements into practical architecture — the operating models and decision structures that allow security teams to deploy AI with confidence.

Over more than two decades in enterprise security, Ben has held senior architecture roles at Seagate, Washington Mutual, Citrix, Teradata, and Avalara — consistently operating at the intersection of security architecture, governance, and organizational risk.

At Avalara, he served as Enterprise Security Architect and the company's primary AI Security Architect — designing the enterprise-wide GRC strategy and leading AI governance initiatives across a complex, global SaaS organization. His methodology is grounded in direct, production-scale implementation of ISO 42001 and the NIST AI Risk Management Framework.

Beyond Latus AI, Ben actively mentors and advises executives and security leaders navigating the intersection of emerging technology and organizational risk — helping them build the judgment and frameworks needed to lead with confidence in an AI-driven world.
